The pool repair began in November 2022 and identified multiple components that required repair. New plumbing, skimmers and returns, were installed. The void under the pool was filled with concrete. Tile & coping were replaced, along with leveling and rebuilding the bond beam. Superficial cracks in the plaster were patched and the pool has been filled with water.
Remaining work:
- Electrician will review and repair the electrical bond in March
- Concrete contractor will pour replacement concrete deck in late March/early April
- Pool repair company will return and caulk the expansion joint
Based upon the timeline of the work, the pool is expected to open on Memorial Day weekend as planned. We are looking for 2 or 3 more lifeguards to ensure that the pool hours are not impacted by the ongoing lifeguard shortage. Contact the HOA Board if you have interest. Thank you.
