The pool will be closed during the weekdays of Monday August 28 through Friday September 1.

The pool will reopen for the final 3-day Labor Day weekend: Saturday September 2 through Monday September 4. 

The pool will then be closed for the season, reopening Memorial Day weekend of 2024.

The pool will be opening at approximately 12:30pm rather than 12:00pm Noon today – Saturday August 19. Thank you.

PECO has announced planned power outages for today – Thursday, August 17 between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

If the power outages impact the pool area, we expect that the pool area will be closed. We can anticipate that an extended power outage that impacts the pool area may require the pool to be closed beyond the power outage, as the water quality will need to return to normal before the pool may be reopened. The Canterbury CT paving project is complete – the road will reopen for traffic at 9:00am tomorrow – Thursday August 3. Per the HHA Reserve Study – Glouchester CT is the next road to be resurfaced, tentatively scheduled for Summer 2024. See the New Paving Do’s and Don’ts below.

The Baby Pool had reopened last Friday July 28 after a brief mechanical outage.

ROADWAY “DO’s and DON’Ts”

FOLLOWING THE CANTERBURY CT PAVING PROJECT

DO make sure the vehicle’s wheels are rolling before turning the steering wheel

DON’T turn your automobile wheels while the vehicle is at a complete stop

DON’T drive on the roadway edges, the edges may crack and crumble

DON’T drive aggressively, fast starts and stops will cause damage

DON’T spin your wheels, turn sharp, or stop short

The Baby Pool is closed until further notice due to a mechanical issue with the pump. The Big Pool remains open.

The HOA Board has awarded a Canterbury CT repair & resurfacing bid to JENA Asphalt Solutions. The work will begin the week of Monday July 31.

Anticipated timeline:

• Monday July 31 – stage equipment, residents relocate vehicles to Hawthorne Drive (outer-loop only)
• Tuesday Aug 1 – mill & repair – Road closes. Trash/Recycling service will be accommodated
• Wednesday Aug 2 – pave/overlay
• Thursday Aug 3 – Road reopens

Residents will receive more specific instructions via flyers delivered to their households before, during, and after the project.
