Hedgerow/Culbertson Run HOA Site Stormwater Management Assessment and Recommendations – presented by the Brandywine Conservancy & Natural Lands Trust

Back in July 2019, our HHA Board contacted the East Brandywine Township staff to coordinate a grant-funded stormwater management opportunity offered by the Brandywine Conservancy and Natural Lands Trust. Two meetings/walk-throughs were performed with the HHA Board – August 13th, 2019 and January 25th, 2020.

The assessment and its recommendations were developed with no charge to our HHA thanks to a grant from the William Penn Foundation. The report and supporting documentation may be found in the links below.

Hawthorne Drive Project Update – July 22nd, 2020

The stormwater basin work has begun. Hawthorne Drive will be closed between Wyndham and Brookfield Courts for approximately two to three weeks so that the contractor can complete the basin and additional stormwater piping. As a safety precaution, the excavation area will be enclosed with orange fence and blocked with equipment to prevent entry into the area.

Corona Virus (COVID-19) and 2020 Delayed Pool Season

The safety of our residents is the Association’s main priority.

The pool will not be opening for the Memorial Day weekend as originally planned.  The Governor’s Executive Order does not permit pools to operate because they are not a life-sustaining essential activity. It will not be permitted to open until the State and County Health Department give permission to do so. No date has been set yet by the Governor and County Health Department for this to happen.  When we have more updated information, we will provide an update.

We realize that postponing the opening of the pool is disappointing to many residents.  We appreciate your ongoing support and understanding during this difficult time.

Working together we can all stay safe.

Sincerely,

HHA Board
