· Click “Submit a Request” in the green box on the left side of the home page.
· Look at the 4th tab “Request”, and click on “Hawthorne Event Parking Request.”
· Enter your email address and password in the Request Tracker Login. If you have not previously created an account for our website, please click on the New User box do create an account.
· To complete the Hawthorne Event Parking Request form, you will need to enter your Name, Street Number, Street Name, the Event Start Date and Time, the Event End Time and Date, and the Expected Number of Vehicles (a drop-down box). Your email address and phone number will be automatically entered based on the User information you previously provided.
· Completion of this form will generate an email to you, which you should retain for your records. There is no longer a need to print copies to place in the side windows of your guests.
The email approval will include similar instructions as were included in the letters previously generated – parking only on the outer loop of Hawthorne Drive, no vehicles parked less than 25 feet from an intersection to maintain sight distance. If there are any concerns from the Township, someone from our Staff will contact you directly.
Another reason to create an account on our website is to receive notifications of Township events, weather events, meeting agendas and minutes, and other important information of interest to you. You can register for whatever notifications interest you, sent by email or text message.

Roadwork – Hawthorne Drive to re-open on Wednesday, August 9th (Update #3)
The 42 inch pipe under Hawthorne Drive between Gloucester and Cambridge Courts will be replaced beginning Tuesday, August 1st.
This is an existing corrugated metal pipe that has corroded, being replaced with HDPE pipe.
Diagram of the location is below, you’ll see the pipe in green between the inlet and outflow.

Due to the frequent rain, there has been a delay in back filling the subsoil in the road. Expected re-opening of Hawthorne Drive is now Wednesday, August 8th and no later than Thursday August 9th. The project will wrap up during the week of August 14th with re-paving of the repair area, and along the edges of the road – with top soil spread, seeded and erosion blanket installed.
*All courts will be accessible at all times during this project.
Lastly, the township will also put a message board in the area of the pipe to alert residents.

East Brandywine Township Pollutant Reduction Plan
A recent communication from East Brandywine Township to the HHA Board states that the township is required by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to “reduce sentiment in the Culbertson Run stream and a stream that is a tributary to Beaver Creek.” To address this requirement, East Brandywine Township developed the MS4 Pollutant Reduction Plan. A major part of the plan is the installation of infiltration trenches located within the Hawthorne Drive right-of-way.
