DON’T turn your automobile wheels while the vehicle is at a complete stop

DON’T drive on the roadway edges, the edges may crack and crumble.

DON’T drive aggressively, fast starts and stops will cause damage

DON’T spin your wheels, turn sharp, or stop short

ATTENTION Brookfield CT Residents

Please do not park on the inner loop of Hawthorne Drive. If you are currently parked on the inner loop, please move your vehicle immediately. You could be ticketed by the East Brandywine Police and it is causing congestion.

Parking is only on the outer loop and only during the paving project. See the East Brandywine Township web site to request parking on Hawthorne Drive after the paving project is completed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Paving Update – Brookfield Court – Thursday, July 2

JENA Asphalt Solutions has informed us that due to the heat they will begin early on Thursday likely between 6:00am and 6:30am. Please have vehicles moved prior to when paving begins. Thank you!

Paving Update Tuesday, June 30

Brookfield Court – Due to technical difficulties the schedule is back to the original.

Chapel Court – Keep vehicles and pets off the new asphalt. The asphalt is hot enough to burn pet paws. Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Thursday due to the heat wave.

Everyone – We are aware that Hawthorne Drive is dirty due to the paving project and will be cleaned as much as possible later this week.

For those moving vehicles to Hawthorne Drive – outer rim only, should be faced the direction traffic moves, do not park too close to the intersections so folks can see getting out of the courts. Thank you for your patience!

Attention BROOKFIELD COURT Residents!

Brookfield Court Residents – The Milling process will begin today, ahead of schedule! You will have access to the street however, you may want to consider moving your vehicles for a quicker way out. Paving will begin tomorrow, also ahead of schedule!

Paving Project – Monday PM – Chapel Court – Move Vehicles

This is a reminder to move vehicles off of Chapel Court. Tuesday morning paving begins and the road will be closed. Park on the outer loop of Hawthorne Drive. What to expect:

  • Move all vehicles off of Chapel Court. Paving company will arrive early Tuesday morning.
  • Do NOT set trash out on Chapel Court for Tuesday pick up.
  • There will be no deliveries
  • Road will be CLOSED all day Tuesday

Paving Project Reminder for Chapel Court

Reminder that the paving project begins on Monday for Chapel Court. What to expect:

  • Limited access on Monday
  • Utilize outer loop of Hawthorne Drive as needed
  • Plan to move vehicles off Chapel Court Monday evening
  • Do not set out trash for Tuesday pick up, Chapel Court will not have trash service on Tuesday (all other courts will be unaffected)

Chapel and Brookfield Courts Paving Project – Week of June 29, 2026

Dear Residents,

The HOA Board is pleased to announce that JENA Asphalt Solutions has been awarded the bid for the repair and resurfacing of Chapel and Brookfield Courts. This important project will begin the week of Monday, June 29, 2026.

Work will commence daily at 7:30 AM. Please review the anticipated timelines and parking restrictions below:


CHAPEL COURT – Anticipated Timeline:

  • Monday, June 29 Mill & Repair:
    • Road Status: Limited access during the day.
    • Vehicles/Parking: Vehicles may still use the street during the day, but must park on the outer loop of Hawthorne Drive overnight. Vehicles will not be able to exit or enter Chapel Court on Tuesday,  June 30. 
  • Tuesday, June 30 Base Repairs & Paving:
    • Road Status: CLOSED ALL DAY for paving.
    • Parking Restrictions: No parking or vehicle traffic permitted on Chapel Court until Wednesday, July 1.
    • Trash/Recycling Service: Waste collection services will NOT be accommodated on Tuesday. 
  • Wednesday, July 1 Project Completion:
    • Road Status: The road will reopen.
    • Cones: Cones will be removed once the road is fully reopened.

BROOKFIELD COURT – Anticipated Timeline:

  • Wednesday, July 1 Mill, Repair, & Drain Repair:
    • Road Status: Limited access during the day.
    • Vehicles/Parking: Vehicles may still use the street during the day, but must park on the outer loop of  Hawthorne Drive overnight. Vehicles will not be able to exit or enter Brookfield Court on Thursday,  July 2.  
  • Thursday, July 2 Base Repairs & Paving:
    • Road Status: CLOSED ALL DAY for paving.
    • Parking Restrictions: No parking or vehicle traffic permitted on Brookfield Court until Friday, July 3.
  • Friday, July 3 Project Completion:
    • Road Status: The road will reopen.
    • Cones: Cones will be removed once the road is fully reopened.

We understand that this project will cause some temporary inconvenience, and we appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to improve our community’s infrastructure. Please plan ahead for vehicle relocation and road closures. Remember to park on the outer loop of Hawthorne Drive. A blanket request was opened with the township.
